Who We Are

The Ohio Valley Down System Support Group is a small, growing group of community members working to promote positivity and inclusion for those born with Down Syndrome.

We encourage families that have special members to come and enjoy a encouraging, supportive community that looks towards education and inclusion to create an atmosphere that is safe and fun for you and your loved ones.

What We Do

OVDSSG offers year-round events for the community, including:
New parents and pre-natal support
Community and social events
Resource and referral services
Public awareness, outreach and advocacy
The Annual Ohio Valley Buddy Walk, the region’s largest Down Syndrome advocacy and awareness event. Our goal is to create opportunities where individuals with Down Syndrome can actively participate in society and reach their full potential.
