Health Care Professionals

The Ohio Valley Down Syndrome Support Group is here to help physicians such as pediatricians, obstetricians, nurses, social workers, genetic counselors, midwives and other healthcare providers seeking information.

At OVDSSG, we want to make sure that all families are ready for their new bundle of joy. With these resources, parents are able to be ready to bring them home educated and prepared.

A search for “Down Syndrome” on the internet produces millions of results. Part of our job is to pull together quality information from trusted and credible sources to provide families upon receiving a Down Syndrome diagnosis. In result, we have created a set of resources for families and the healthcare professionals caring for them.
